The Testo 882 is a high resolution thermal camera that can be used in several applications ranging from studying electrical panels for overheating components to detecting temperature problems with solar panels.

Pistol-shaped for a comfortable grip, the Testo 882 is also lightweight, making it easy to position and take the image you want. As standard, the 882 takes thermal images with resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, although this can be upgraded to 640 x 480 pixels using Testo's SuperResolution software (sold separately).

The 882 is also designed to spot minor differences in temperature thanks to thermal sensitivity of less than 60mK. It's also equipped with a large 32° lens, increasing the field of view of the camera and allowing more to be spotted.

The Testo 882 is also suitable for use in mould detection. By using a special measurement mode, the camera uses externally-measured ambient temperature, air humidity and surface temperature data to calculate humiidty values for each measurement point, showing this information directly on the image.
