This is the FLIR E85 - a powerful, handheld thermal imaging system that's suitable for everything from electrical studies to detecting building insulation problems.

The E85 is the upgraded version of FLIR's E75 camera. Both models are basically identical - however the E85 has higher thermal resolution of 384 x 288 pixels (the E75 has 320 x 240 pixel resolution) and packs more temperature data into every image taken on the camera. This camera also has more spotmeter and area box images, allowing you to add 3 of either to images in live viewing.

Using the FLIR E85 is simple - it's ergonomically designed with pistol-shaped grips and a trigger for quick, easy image capturing.A large-size, fast-response touchscreen gives you quick and easy access to all functions, allowing you to swap between modes with just a few taps.

Multiple colour palettes are included, as well as FLIR's unique MSX technology which actively blends together thermal and digital images to increase the level of detail in every image captured on the E85.

There's much more to this camera too; it includes 1 to 4x continuous digital zoom, a built-in digital camera, removable and replaceable lenses, a picture-in-picture mode and the following object temperature measurement ranges: -20°C to +120°C (-4°F to 248°F); 0°C-650°C (32°F - 1200°F), and +300°C to +1200°C (572°F - 1292°F).
